Run & Team Event on Saturday, April 30. This race is held annually during April which is Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The Course
Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you run or walk though the curves and rolling hills of INDEPENDENCE GROVE FOREST PRESERVE 16400 W. Buckley Road in Libertyville, Illinois.
The 5K course is USATF Certified (IL-12159-JW). This race has applied for and received the Chicago Area Runners Association designation as a CARA EMERGING RACE. This race has agreed to adhere to and uphold CARA's Best Practices Guidelines. These Guidelines embody the highest standards of quality, safety and comfort for participants in a road race. Due to CARA's advocacy efforts, runners in the Chicagoland area enjoy some of the highest quality road races in the country.
